Which browsers / system requirements are needed for best usability results?

healthpolicymonitor.org is optimized according to Web Content Accessibility Guidelines 1.0. It therefore uses cascading stylesheets (CSS). If your browser does not show our website properly, it does not support the regular web standards agreed upon by th World Wide Web Consortium. Unfortunately older browsers did not always apply to those standards. The result is, that a lot of websites are not accessible für disabled people, e.g. with blindness. healthpolicymonitor uses technologies, that are optimized also for special browsers which allow disabled people to use our service.

If your (older) browser does not support these standards, it is highly recomended to switch your browser to:

  • Microsoft Internet Explorer 6 for Windows
  • Netscape 6 und 7 for Windows
  • Microsoft Internet Explorer 5 for Macintosh.
You can access and use this site with almost any browser; however, browsers that do not support CSS will lead to design irregularities.

All Health Policy Reforms documented in our site are provided in PDF format, which allows you to view and download documents retaining the original formatting. You will find a PDF-button at the end of each survey. In the search result you may choose all the reforms of interest and download them in one document. Use Adobe Acrobat Reader to view and download documents in PDF format.
